About Me
Hello! I'm Frank. 👋
I'm originally from New York 🗽, where I spent my early days curious about history and running after school. Following the renowned words of Horace Greeley, I then headed west for the Bay Area 🌉, where at UC Berkeley I studied mathematics, computer science, and linguistics, as well as attended many interesting talks and sporting events. I then spent brief stints in Chicago and Mountain View before moving back to New York, where I'm currently based.
My interests in history and world cultures have led me to explore many places around the world, including 42 countries + 34 states. I am generally interested in subjects revolving around the history of human culture and I also believe that the studies of language and geography are powerful lenses for viewing our world. In my free time, I enjoy cardio activities like running 🏃♂️ + hiking 🥾 + biking 🚲 and team sports like basketball 🏀 + volleyball 🏐.
